SIM Annex Office  

The project incorporated refurbishment of the interior of the SIM Office building adjacent to the main Terminal building in Dublin Airport.  

Works included Preparation & Painting of walls, doors and public areas to ground, 1st and 2nd floor, new floor coverings and Blinds to the windows and also a tea station. The lift was retest and commissioned, fire protection as per tender specification was done, constructing openings in the walls as per the tender scope to access the warehouse building from the office on ground floor. “Soft wall” openings where formed on 1st and 2nd floor and servicing of mechanical systems, also recertification of electrical systems, re-lamping and cleaning of fittings.  

The SIM Warehouse involved construction of ground floor stores in part of the Simulator Warehouse included the installation of cladding to main structure as illustrated in the Tender drawings. Structural steel fabrication on-site works including construction of steel column and beam mezzanine floor above stores and associated. Foundations for structural stanchions, construction of stores on the ground floor level and installation of VRF mechanical Air-conditioning to the stores.  

Civil works required included Relocation of Airside /Landside fence, line marking and kerb forming including small section of new footpaths.
