Collen Sponsor Irish Men's Over 45's Hockey Team

Update August 28th 2018 Congratulations to the Irish Hockey Men’s Over
45’s team who came in 5th place in the Exin Masters World Cup 2018,
held in Terrassa Spain, losing to overall winners, Spain in the Quarter final. Collen
was proud to sponsor the team as they took on international players from all
over the World. Following the defeat to Spain, the Irish team beat New Zealand and then
Australia to earn a very creditable 5th place. The tournament represented
the largest ever field sport competition held.

Irish hockey has taken centre stage in the
sports world following the Irish Women’s silver medal win at the Women’s Hockey
World Cup 2018 in London, also running at the same time as the Masters
Tournament. The Irish Women’s Over 50's team were overall winners of their
division at the Masters Tournament, defeating Australia in the final to bring
home the Gold!
Well done to all the Irish players
participating in the various hockey tournaments. With an increase in funding
for the sport, Ireland will hopefully go on to greater successes in this field!

Collen is proud to sponsor the Irish Hockey Men’s Over 45’s
team as they set to compete at the Exin Masters World Cup 2018, held in
Terrassa Spain. The tournament runs from 27th July to 5th
August with 135 teams from 34 countries participating.
On the back of successfully winning the Hockey Masters Home
Nations against England, Wales and Scotland in June of this year, the team are
set to perform well in Spain and are hopeful of bringing home another trophy.
Collen wishes them every success throughout the tournament.
