Construction of 35,500m2 of warehouse units and ancillary offices.
Collen were awarded the contract for Phase 1 development of a greenfield site adjacent to Dublin Airport. This project involved the construction of 2no industrial units (B1 & D1) including offices, dock levellers, truck turning area , car parking and fencing. In the client area is the building of a new ESB substation, extension of the estate road and new signage at the entrance to the Park. Works also included soil stabilization works.
Following the successful completion of Phase 1 we were awarded the phases 2-5 by Green Property. These subsequent phases involved the construction of an additional 5 warehousing units including ancillary offices.
Specification of each industrial unit and ancillary office:
Structural Steel frame was erected and clad with Kingspan RW panels and Architectural panels complete with smoke vents, rooflights, vehicle access doors, dock levellers, windows and curtain walling. The warehouse floor was completed to FM 2 specification and Inner blockwork wall to warehouse with U Block band beam where required. Mechanical and electrical works including lighting to warehouses/office and plumbing/heating/sanitaryware.
Works to offices including precast hollowcore floors, concrete stairs, balustrading, wall linings, partitions, blockwork, timber doors, ironmongery, architrave, skirting, suspended ceilings, toilet cubicles, vanity units, tea stations, splashbacks, floor tiling, wall tiling & painting as part of the fit-out. External works including services, drainage, manholes, watermain, ramp to dock levellers, service yard, carpark, line marking, landscaping, planting, signage and fencing/gate.
